Are you feeling fulfilled?

Is the life you are living bringing you the joy and fulfillment you’ve always dreamt of?
My dear muse, if 15 years ago, when my life was divided between caring for 4 children and an endlessly traveling husband, someone had told me that being a woman did not mean to race between the service and the survival, I would probably have said something like:
“Easy to say when you never been in my shoes.”
But I’ve been in my shoes.
I’ve been in the shoes of millions of women who will never walk out of the vicious cycle of suppressing their feelings and neglecting their own needs, believing that caring for others means giving up on yourself.
I’ve been in the shoes of the women who believed that if your life fits the clichéd description of having a husband, the kids, and a place to live – you have nothing to complain about.
I’ve been in the shoes of women who made peace with not feeling enough.
I’ve been there.
And it led me to the level of the exhaustion and desperation at which I almost divorced my husband and left behind everything we’ve built together.
My search for the missing piece began when I realized that nothing was meant to take care of myself among everything I’ve been taught to believe. Nothing was meant to make me feel loved, cared for, fulfilled, and inspired. Nothing was meant to teach me to live radically responsible for my state and needs, so I can show up as the best version of myself for the people I love.
15 years later, my husband and I are more in love with each other than ever.
15 years later, our marriage reminds others of a romantic movie where they lived happily ever after, except it’s not a movie. It’s just the reality; we, women, get to create with our own hands if only we ever get across the sacred wisdom and begin understanding the power of feminine energy.
